Sorry about that.. I do hope all had a good, filling thanksgiving.. I did.. We have a small tradition between my boyfriend and I that when we are together on thanksgiving, we eat crablegs.. so we got a couple pound of legs, invited a friend over (well i don't know if demanded someone bring pie and he accepted that challenge is called inviting, then that's what i did) and we sat around all day playing video games and eating stuff. all kinds of stuff. The weather was nice and i had the whole weekend off, so it was delightful.
Now, however, it is snowing and ugly outside. Winter is apon us.
This week i did something i have been wanting to do, but didn't have any idea how... i adopted a soldier.. Actually he is a Marine in Afghanistan.. could you imagine?? yeah, me either.. so he is getting care packages from me with all kinds of little ditties in it.. It has been a ton of fun to pick things up for him. When I am in the grocery store and see a candy car on sale or something small for a buck, i pick it up. I am the total impulse buyer these days.. Very excited that i can do, even this small part, for something so aweful... (don't worry i am only sending items made in the USA)
So my sister was telling me that she has been missing the daily things that make you go huh.... so i will do my best to update you with details you need to know about the day and if you are good, i might just start back with the snack of the day update.. I know, get ready.....
